The West Brom and Egypt ace is recovering from ankle surgery and The Hawthorns club’s post got many Baggies excited.

A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the club posting a video clip of Ahmed Hegazi doing rehabilitation work following his ankle injury.
The official Baggies website announced last Thursday that the Egypt international had a successful operation on his ankle two days earlier and was to begin his rehab right away.
Hegazi, who played 49 games for club and country last season, has been set a provisional return date of September, following the international break and so far, everything seems to be going according to plan.
Footage of the 28-year-old in the gym was posted on his Instagram stories and subsequently shared on Albion’s official Twitter account, cue plenty of delighted comments from the Baggies fanbase:
Hegazi moved to West Brom initially on loan from Egyptian club El Ahly Cairo in the summer of 2017 and then completed a permanent move to The Hawthorns in January 2018.
The highly rated defender has made 85 appearances for the Baggies and is contracted to the club until the summer of 2022, according to Transfermarkt.
