A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the news that two of the Baggies Championship fixtures in December have been selected for live television broadcast by Sky Sports (official WBA website).

West Brom are set to visit Birmingham City on Saturday 14 December and then welcome Leeds United to The Hawthorns on New Year’s Day – neither of the dates have been moved, but the kickoffs will now be at different times.

Slaven Bilic’s charges will now head to St Andrew’s for a 12:30pm lunch-time early kickoff in mid-December, while the clash with the Whites of Marcelo Bielsa will now kick off at 5:15pm on Wednesday 1 January.

Some Baggies fans made their feelings known on social media about these kickoff times being tinkered with:

According to the Birmingham Mail, West Brom will have been selected by Sky for live television coverage 12 times before the second half of the season begins – as well as Birmingham and Leeds, Bilic and co are also scheduled to be on TV against Stoke City, Bristol City and Swansea City before the middle of December.
