The Baggies confirmed that the Venezuelan striker has left The Hawthorns to link up with Rafael Benitez at Dalian Yifang.

A number of West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on Salomon Rondon leaving The Hawthorns to join Chinese club Dalian Yifang (official WBA site).
Rondon spent last season on loan at Newcastle United, where he played under Rafael Benitez, who left St James’ Park in the summer to join the Liaoning-based side.
The Venezuelan thrived under the tutelage of the Spaniard, scoring 11 goals during his loan spell as the Magpies secured Premier League safety for a second successive season.
According to Sky Sports News, Rondon had a £16.5million release clause in his West Brom contract and passed a medical with Dalian Yifang on Thursday, the move being confirmed on Friday.
As per the official West Brom website, arrived at The Hawthorns in the summer of 2015 and made 120 appearances for the Baggies, scoring 28 goals.

According to Sky Sports News, West Brom have acted quickly to sign a new striker following Rondon’s departure, with Kenneth Zohore reportedly expected to sign from Cardiff for £8million after passing a medical at The Hawthorns.
