The former England boss has said he would be open to an approach from West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich Albion fans are reacting to talk Sam Allardyce could be the next Baggies manager.
Allardyce is among the favourites to be named Darren Moore’s permanent successor, with James Shan expected to remain as caretaker boss until the summer.
Asked about the speculation linking him with the Hawthorns vacancy on Tuesday, the former Everton and England boss told Talksport he has received no contact as yet from West Brom, but said he would be open to an approach.
But what do those of an Albion persuasion make of the prospect of their side hiring Allardyce – who of course grew up a fan of their local rivals, Wolverhampton Wanderers, in Dudley?
This is what they’re saying on Twitter…

He hates us & we hate him. **** the fat prick
West Brom remain in the hunt for promotion back to the top flight after winning all three of their matches since Shan took over.
They remain fourth in the standings, but are still six points off the top two with seven games remaining of the regular Championship season.

Is Allardyce really that bad an option?
