West Bromwich Albion’s winless run in the Premier League continues as they failed to bag a victory on Boxing Day.
Salomon Rondon
West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to urge Alan Pardew to go out and sign another striker during the January transfer window after watching Salomon Rondon’s performance during their draw with Everton on Boxing Day.
The Baggies went into their game with the Toffees still looking for their first win in the Premier League since August, but they would have been aware that they faced a difficult task trying to end that run given that Everton are yet to lose since Sam Allardyce was appointed at Goodison Park.

While a point may not appear to be a bad one – as the game at The Hawthorns finished goalless – the home side created more than enough chances to win the game, but only managed to put three of their 17 attempts on target.
One of the reasons why they were so wasteful was the performance of Rondon, who endured a fairly miserable afternoon before being taken off shortly after the interval due to what appeared to be a hamstring injury.

The Venezuelan found himself in the perfect position on a number of occasions, but either managed to miss the ball altogether or not work Jordan Pickford in the Everton goal at all.
And the West Brom fans who took to social media after the game seem to have run out of patience with the 28-year-old, who has scored just three league goals this year.
Here is the best of the reaction…
