West Bromwich Albion fell to a 2-0 defeat against Crystal Palace this weekend.

West Bromwich Albion were defeated 2-0 by Crystal Palace this weekend, with Wilfried Zaha and Andros Townsend finding the net for the Eagles.
The Baggies would have been hoping to put pressure on Everton, who are directly above them in the table, but Tony Pulis’s attacking options fell short, failing to significantly trouble Palace’s defence.
One player who has failed to replicate his best form in recent weeks is striker Salomon Rondon, who has now gone 11 league matches without a goal since his hat-trick against Swansea City.
While it would be easy to criticise the big striker, West Brom’s attacking midfielders are failing to give him adequate support, with James Morrison and Nacer Chadli both looking out of sorts on Saturday.
There are still plenty of reasons for West Brom fans to be positive. However, if they want to get their striker firing on a regular basis it is up to those behind him to put in a shift.
