West Bromwich Albion overcame their lower league opponents in impressive fashion this week.

West Bromwich Albion are flying high in the Premier League and they have also made it through to the third round of the EFL Cup following their 3-1 victory against Accrington Stanley.
The Baggies won courtesy of goals from Salomon Rondon, Matt Phillips and Jay Rodriguez, with a late strike from Tom Dallison a mere consolation.

Rondon will have been pleased to get on the score sheet after featuring very briefly in the league thus far, coming off the bench for two minutes against Bournemouth and four minutes against Burnley.
Such is West Brom’s strength in depth now that the experienced international must fight tooth and nail to get back into the starting line-up, and he did his chances no harm on Tuesday evening.
West Brom boss Tony Pulis will be well aware of the long hard season ahead for him and his players, and Rondon will be used plenty of times between now and May.

The problem for the Venezuela international is what happens if West Brom bring in another new forward before the transfer window closes at the end of the month. Although for now that is a question for another day.
