West Bromwich Albion are reportedly considering adding Darren Moore to their shortlist of candidates.

A number of West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to react to the report coming out of the Express and Star which has suggested that the Baggies board are considering adding Darren Moore to their list of candidates as they consider Alan Pardew’s permanent successor at The Hawthorns.
It is quite amazing that West Brom go into the final two games with the slightest chance of keeping themselves in the top flight. Having secured just three league wins all season before Pardew was replaced, Moore has overseen a brilliant run.

West Brom have beaten Manchester United and Newcastle United, while they also drew with Swansea City and Liverpool. The four results mean that Moore has already eclipsed the number of wins that Pardew secured during his time in charge.

It is arguably a major surprise that Moore is not already on the shortlist at the very least. Few would have expected West Brom to stand a chance of survival with two games to go, and the performances have shown a fighting spirit that has been missing from the side for much of the season.
He undoubtedly deserves to be considered, but should he actually get the job? It appears that several West Brom fans are not convinced that he is ready to take on the role and point to how other caretaker bosses have struggled to adapt as a potential reason why it would still be a gamble.
It must be mentioned that the large majority of West Brom fans have a huge amount of respect and admiration for Moore, but are not convinced that anything like this current run will necessarily be sustained if he remains in charge beyond this season – though they are certain that his time will come.
Here is the best of the reaction to the reports…
