West Bromwich Albion defeated Hull City 3-1 to start 2017 with a bang, with Chris Brunt, Gareth McAuley and James Morrison getting on the score sheet.
The result means the Baggies continue to pull away from the sides below them and maintain their battle with Everton for what looks like being the best of the rest tag.
While West Brom’s goal-scorers proved to be their heroes, one player that looked out of sorts was summer signing Nacer Chadli.
The Belgian wide man was sensational after his move from Tottenham Hotspur. However he has struggled to replicate his best form since returning from a minor knee operation back in November.
Since then the West Brom winger has featured in eight league matches, failing to score or assist in any, and he will be desperate to ensure this is only a minor blip given his start to life at The Hawthorns.
