Nacer Chadli marked his return to the West Bromwich Albion first-team with a brilliant goal in their Premier League clash with Leicester City.
Nacer Chadli
West Brom and Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Nacer Chadli after the Belgian marked his first Premier League appearance of the season with a stunning goal in the Baggies’ clash with Leicester.
Chadli was the subject of much speculation in the summer, and that speculation appeared to have an impact on how important Tony Pulis deemed him to be to the West Brom side as an EFL Cup game against Accrington Stanley in August was his sole appearance heading into the most recent international break.

Injury was also a factor in his absence from the side, but he finally made his first top flight appearance of the campaign in West Brom’s clash away at Leicester on Monday night.
And on a night where quality was at a premium, Chadli showed exactly what West Brom have been missing as his stunning second-half free-kick gave the Baggies a lead that they would hold onto until the final 10 minutes when Riyad Mahrez equalised.

Unsurprisingly, the West Brom fans have expressed their delight on social media following the Belgian’s goal, and sent a message to Tony Pulis.
Many supporters feel that Chadli’s moment of magic proves that he needs to be one of, if not the first name on the teamsheet in the coming weeks rather than left on the sidelines as he had been regularly in the weeks leading up to the game.
Here is the best of the reaction from the West Brom fans…
The goal has also attracted some attention from supporters of the club he left for West Brom last year, Tottenham, with some fans even suggesting that they would like to see the playmaker return to Spurs…
