West Bromwich Albion fans react to Matty Phillips’s performance – but they’re not happy one bit.

When you’re in a relegation dogfight, the players need to show an abundance of heart, but that’s what West Bromwich Albion fans have accused a number of their players of lacking on Saturday.
Alan Pardew’s side slumped to a 2-1 home defeat by Huddersfield Town to ensure that the Baggies have now lost four Premier League games in a row – and won just one of Pardew’s 14 games.
More worryingly, West Brom remain bottom of the table by seven points, but the teams in 16th and 17th place – Southampton and Crystal Palace – are level on points with 18th-placed Swansea City.

It’s looking like a very long way back for Albion and, as a result, their supporters are naturally furious on Twitter – but one man has come in more criticism than most.
Matty Phillips was given the nod to start by Pardew, but many fans of The Hawthorns club all saw the former QPR refuse to make one tackle in particular, something which sums up the mentality within the West Brom squad at the moment it has to be said.
