West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Chelsea-owned Conor Gallagher against Manchester United.
Gallagher, who joined West Brom on loan from Chelsea in the summer of 2020, was in action against United at The Hawthorns in the Premier League on Sunday.
The 21-year-old midfielder played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Baggies played out 1-1 draw with the Red Devils at home.
The England Under-21 international showed a lot of energy from the first minute, made himself a dominating figure in the middle of the park, drove the team forward, and provided the assist for the Baggies’ goal.
According to WhoScored, Gallagher played four key passes, had a pass accuracy of 92.7%, won one header, took 58 touches, attempted one dribble, made one tackle and one interception, and put in two crosses.
So far this season, the midfielder has made 17 starts and one substitute appearance in the Premier League for the Baggies, scoring two goals and providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.
