West Bromwich Albion and Watford went head-to-head this weekend with the Baggies coming out on top.
West Bromwich Albion overcame Watford 3-1 at The Hawthorns on Saturday courtesy of goals from Jonny Evans, Chris Brunt and Matt Phillips.
The Baggies moved up to sixth place in the Premier League table as a result and few would have expected that at the start of the campaign, when the pressure was well and truly on manager Tony Pulis.

It was not just the goal-scorers who deserved credit for West Brom this weekend, with Baggies defender Allan Nyom taking the terrace chants from the fans of his former employers in his stride and putting in a superb performance for the hosts.
Nyom played 37 times for Watford before moving to West Brom in the summer, and on this evidence he is going to be a steal for Pulis.

The left-back looked solid throughout and is clearly winning over his new fans.
