A number of West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports emerging from the Express and Star suggesting that the Baggies could consider a move for Fulham’s Aboubakar Kamara in the final days of the January transfer window.

The Express and Star reports that Newcastle winger Jacob Murphy is Darren Moore’s top target ahead of the deadline as he looks to bolster his attacking options.

However, the report adds that Kamara is available following a number of controversial incidents, and he is one player that the Championship promotion chasers could consider if they miss out on Murphy.

Unsurprisingly, the reports have divided some of The Hawthorns faithful on social media. Kamara scored seven goals as the Cottagers were promoted out of the Championship last season – and his record becomes even more impressive when you consider that he only started 10 of the 32 games he played.

He has also found the back of the net three times in the top flight, so there are some fans who feel that it is worth the gamble to make a move this month.

However, there are those who look at his problems at Fulham and feel that he will not be worth the hassle. West Brom are the top goalscorers in the division, so they should be able to cope if they fail to add another attacking option. Thus, some seem to believe that it is an unnecessary risk for the Baggies.
