West Bromwich Albion reportedly want to sign Tyrone Mings on loan this month.

A number of West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports emerging from the Express and Star last week which suggested that the Baggies are considering a loan move for Tyrone Mings – and it appears that the supporters may need convincing about how beneficial a deal could be.

Mings cost Bournemouth £8 million, but injuries have played a key role in his spell at the Vitality Stadium, and it appears that he may be given the green light to seal a temporary move this month.

The Express and Star reported that the Baggies are one of the sides interested in taking the 25-year-old on loan for the rest of the campaign, with Championship rivals Aston Villa also monitoring his situation.

The report suggests that Mings is being lined up as West Brom prepare to potentially lose one or two of their defenders this month. But that has not stopped some of the fans questioning the logic behind a potential pursuit.

Some feel that the priority should now be replacing Harvey Barnes after Leicester City decided to recall the attacking midfielder from his loan spell earlier this month.

And others do not appear to be entirely convinced that Mings would be an improvement on what Moore already has available to him at The Hawthorns.
