West Bromwich Albion are expected to remain busy in the final few days of the summer transfer window with Tony Pulis looking to add a few more players to his squad.
According to reports from the Telegraph, the Baggies are keen to sign Watford striker Troy Deeney, and are hopeful of getting him for less than the price that was previously quoted for the forward.
Watford had previously set a £25 million on their captain, but West Brom believe they could get him at a reduced price.
The 29-year-old striker joined Watford in 2010 from Walsall, and scored 10 goals in the Premier League last season.
The striker has only been on the pitch for a handful of minutes in the Premier League this term, and his position is under threat following the arrival of Andre Gray from Burnley, sparking interest from Premier League rivals.
