West Bromwich Albion’s promotion hopes were dealt a major blow in their latest Championship clash.

A number of West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Tosin Adarabioyo’s performance during the Baggies’ defeat to Leeds on Friday, and criticise Darren Moore’s decision to play the Manchester City loanee at left-back at Elland Road.
West Brom saw their automatic-promotion hopes receive a major setback as they were thrashed 4-0 on a night where they rarely threatened to lay a glove on the home side – particularly during the second-half.
Moore sprung something of a selection surprise ahead of the game. Kieran Gibbs’s absence prompted the Baggies boss to pick Adarabioyo at left-back rather than select fellow summer signing Conor Townsend.
The 21-year-old has predominantly played at right-back since moving to the Hawthorns, but Friday was his first appearance on the left of the back four. And many West Brom fans felt that that fact showed.

Adarabioyo also squandered an excellent chance to equalise as he was the one to jump highest from a corner during the first-half. But he could only glance the ball well wide of the far post.

It was an incredibly difficult night for the full-back. Some have been incredibly critical of his display, but there has also been some criticism directed at Moore for deciding to use him in that role.
Here is what some of the fans made of Adarabioyo’s display…
