Baggies fans are keen for a fresh start it seems.

West Bromwich Albion fans have delivered a clear instruction to new owner Guochuan Lai after an investment group led by the Chinese businessman completed its takeover of the club on Thursday.
There is a general sense of disillusionment among the Baggies fanbase at present, with the popularity of manager Tony Pulis waning day by day.

Last week, the Welshman, who is already the bookies’ favourite to be the first Premier League boss to leave his post this season, contradicted comments made by new chairman about the club’s summer transfer policy.
His response was seen by some as another straw en route to breaking the camel’s back – resulting in his sacking and a likely pay-off from his employers.

The 58-year-old, who has been at the Hawthorns since January 2015, has nine months to run on his West Brom contract and was linked with taking over at Championship side Queens Park Rangers this week (Times).
The speculation was quickly dismissed by R’s director of football Les Ferdinand, with whom Pulis sat during Tuesday’s defeat to Newcastle United, however, this was much to the Baggies fans’ disappointment.
