West Brom fans have been reacting on Twitter to reports coming from the Express and Star which have suggested that James Morrison is going to be given the chance to earn a new contract at The Hawthorns this summer.

Morrison is the longest-serving player in the Baggies’ squad and has just come to the end of his 11th season on the club’s books. It could prove to be his final year with West Brom however, with his contract expiring at the end of the month.

Morrison missed the majority of this past season with an Achilles injury and the report suggests that Moore is reluctant to jump to a decision in case the midfielder is unable to prove his fitness during the coming weeks.

Others however, feel that it is time to bring the curtain down on the Scotland international’s time with the club. While most hold him in the highest regard, they feel that Moore cannot rely on the midfielder to stay out of the treatment room and it may be a mistake to keep him this summer.
