West Bromwich Albion loanee Oliver Burke helped Celtic to a comfortable win over St Mirren in the Scottish Premiership.
West Brom fans on Twitter have reacted with positivity to Oliver Burke scoring a brace for Celtic during their 4-0 win over St Mirren on Wednesday night.
Brendan Rodgers side maintained their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership table by comfortably dispatching the rock-bottom club on home soil.
Burke is on-loan at the Glasgow club from English Championship side West Brom and he didn’t disappoint by opening the scoring after 11 minutes.
Former Aston Villa winger Scott Sinclair then doubled his side’s lead from the penalty spot, before league debutants Burke and Timothy Weah completed the scoring in the second half.
One Albion fan on Twitter stated that Burke is already ‘tearing’ it up in Scotland, while another claimed that ‘the SPFL must be truly awful’ if their loanee is already having that sort of impact.

The win for Rodgers side means that Celtic, who have a game in hand on their rivals, hold their one-point lead over second-placed Kilmarnock, who beat third-placed Rangers on the same night.
Prior to the midwinter break, the Gers had inflicted a damaging defeat on their Old Firm rivals, but now they are three points behind their neighbours having played a game more.
Nonetheless, during his time at the Hawthorns, Burke struggled for regular game time, both in the Premier League and the Championship, playing 21 games in all competitions, scoring one goal and supplying three assists.
