Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho is reportedly wanted by West Bromwich Albion in the summer transfer window.

West Bromwich Albion fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho.

According to BBC Sport, West Brom are interested in signing Sakho from Premier League rivals Liverpool in the summer transfer window.

The Baggies, though, will have to pay as much as £30 million as transfer fee in order to secure the services of the 27-year-old centre-back, according to The Birmingham Mail.

The Birmingham Mail has also claimed that the France international turned down a loan move to West Brom in the summer of 2016.

The former Paris Saint-Germain centre-back spent the second half of the 2016-17 campaign on loan at Crystal Palace.

Sakho’s performance at the back was important in the London club staving off relegation to the Championship at the end of last season.
