Harvey Barnes started for Leicester City as they were beaten by Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.

West Brom fans on Twitter have provided a mixed reaction to Harvey Barnes for his performance during Leicester City’s 3-1 defeat at Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday afternoon.
The 21-year-old winger was on loan at the Championship side for the first half of the season where he impressed the Hawthorns faithful with his performances.
As a result, his parent club ended his loan deal prematurely and he has since worked his way into Claude Puel’s starting XI, including during their defeat to Spurs at Wembley.
Nonetheless, during the encounter, Barnes was involved in a number of big moments in the game as his direct running and ability to pick up the ball in dangerous areas hurt the opposition.
In the second half, with the game on the edge, Barnes was through on goal, but the youngster saw his shot saved by goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
It was one of a number of big opportunities that were missed by the Foxes’ attacker, with one Albion fan on Twitter stating that Leicester recalled him from his loan spell ‘too early’.
Here is a selection of West Brom fans on Twitter reacting to Barnes’ performance against Spurs:
During his time at West Brom, Barnes played 29 Championship matches, scoring nine goals and supplying his teammates with six assists.
Since his move back to the King Power Stadium, he has played four league matches, his strike during his side’s defeat at Wolves last month was awarded as an own goal.
