West Bromwich Albion reportedly made a late move to try and sign Bojan before the transfer window shut.

While it was no surprise that Bojan was at The Hawthorns for Saturday’s Championship clash between West Brom and Stoke City, it appears that there was a small chance that he could have been in the Baggies’ ranks for the game had events in the final hours of the transfer window played out differently.
The Sun on Sunday suggests that Stoke were happy to let Bojan move on, but the player was not as keen for a transfer to go through and West Brom fell short of his valuation.
Bojan has not enjoyed the best career in England. After a couple of excellent seasons at the bet365 Stadium, the former Barcelona ace has struggled to find his best form and is now a peripheral figure for Gary Rowett’s men, with just one start coming in the league so far this term.

Nevertheless, a number of West Brom fans appear to be disappointed that the Baggies did not manage to get a deal for Bojan done in the final hours of the summer.
The playmaker arrived in England with a big reputation and has shown glimpses of his quality during his time with Stoke. And several of the Baggies supporters believe that they could have been the team to unlock his full potential had he arrived, and some have suggested that they would like to see a fresh pursuit take place in January.

Here is what some of the West Brom fans make of the reports…
