Aston Villa and West Brom are set to meet in the playoff semi-finals.

West Brom supporters have hit out at Conor Hourihane and the decision not to ban the Aston Villa player for his actions over the weekend.
As reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, the senior Villa midfielder avoided any punishment after footage appeared to show him throwing a punch at Mateusz Klich during the drama-filled game against Leeds.
Albion fans couldn’t believe that Hourihane has been able to get away with it as he will now be available for selection against Norwich City this Sunday and the playoff semi-finals.
As things stand, Dean Smith’s side will play West Brom in a two-legged affair, with the winner heading to Wembley in a one-off game and with the chance of making a return to the Premier League.
Leeds United are the other team in the playoffs, but sixth spot is yet to be decided with Frank Lampard’s Derby County, Boro and Bristol City all vying for that last spot.
Here is a selection of Albion fans on Twitter reacting to Hourihane:
Aston Villa will head into the playoffs as the form team because they are unbeaten in their last 12 matches and have won 10 of those games.
But form does go out of the window for these games as one team aims to secure a valuable pass to England’s top-flight for next season.
