Former Blackburn Rovers manager Owen Coyle is as short as 4/1 with bookmaker Paddy Power to take charge of West Bromwich Albion.

West Brom are being tipped to make a change this summer, with relegation looking likely under current boss Alan Pardew – although Coyle would be a somewhat surprise selection to succeed the 56-year-old.

While the 51-year-old may have led Burnley to the Premier League nine years ago, his stock his fallen considerably since then, following spells at Bolton Wanderers, Wigan Athletic, Houston Dynamo, Blackburn and Ross County – the latter of whom he left at the bottom of the Scottish Premier League last month.

Marco Silva (evens) remains the Paddy Power favourite should West Brom give Pardew the boot, with Michael O’Neill and Martin O’Neill also staying put at 5/2 and 7/1 respectively, while early contenders Harry Redknapp and Garry Monk – who has since been hired by Albion’s local rivals Birmingham City – have drifted to 14/1 and 12/1 respectively.

Slaven Bilic (10/1), Derek McInnes (12/1), Gary Megson and new Southampton manager Mark Hughes (both 14/1) are the only others with odds shorter than 20/1.
