West Bromwich Albion loanee Olivier Burke has struggled during his spell at Scottish Premiership giants Celtic.
West Brom fans on Twitter have destroyed Olivier Burke for his performance during Celtic’s 2-0 defeat to Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon.
The 22-year-old is on-loan at the Scottish Premiership champions from Championship side Albion, but he didn’t impress when starting in a highly-charged Old Firm encounter.
Burke played the full match, but he failed to stamp his authority on the game and trouble the Rangers defence who ended up running away with the three points.
If truth be told, Burke wasn’t the only Celtic player who put in a poor display, the majority of his teammates struggled against a Steven Gerrard side that was seemingly trying to prove their worth to the eight-in-a-row champions.
Nonetheless, Burke’s loan deal at Parkhead will end in the summer and he is set to return to The Hawthorns in the summer with his club vying for promotion to England’s top-flight.

As things stand, Burke’s parent club West Brom are aiming to reach the Premier League, but they were dealt a blow on Saturday when they lost the first leg of their play-off semi-final showdown against Aston Villa.
As for his current club, Celtic, they will be aiming to win the treble-treble before the season ends and Burke will be looking to play his part in that historic moment.
