West Brom conceded late on to draw 1-1 against Brentford.

West Bromwich Albion conceded a late equaliser to Brentford on Monday night as Harvey Barnes’ 77th-minute opener was cancelled out by Lewis MacLeod in injury time – and fans have pointed the blame at Jay Rodriguez.
Darren Moore’s side missed chance after chance in the first half, with Hal Robson-Kanu and Rodriguez being particularly wasteful. Matt Phillips had a 30-yard effort that clipped the top of the bar.
After dominating much of the match, the Baggies finally found their way through when Harvey Barnes scored at the second attempt from 12 yards after his first effort had been blocked. With less than 15 to go, West Brom looked comfortable.
However, a pinpoint cross from Emiliano Marcondes found substitute Lewis MacLeod in the West Brom box completely unmarked. He provided the finish, leaving goalkeeper Sam Johnstone with no chance in injury time.

The draw will feel like a loss for Baggies fans and manager Moore, especially when considering the chances West Brom failed to convert in the first half. Rodriguez’s first effort comes to mind, blazing over the bar from inside the six-yard box.
West Brom fans reacted to the 29-year-old’s display, who is said to be earning an enormous £60,000 a week at the Hawthorns (Spotrac). Many hammered the striker, criticising his inability to score.
