Leeds United are currently facing a battle to keep hold of their star young talent in left-back Charlie Taylor.

The talented defender is being linked with plenty of teams, with West Bromwich Albion continually being linked.

West Brom have been linked with the player for some time and it is now being reported that Baggies boss Tony Pulis was at the City Ground at the weekend to watch Taylor in action – as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The news will of course concern Leeds fans – but they have been used to this speculation for some time now.

On top of that, West Brom have recently signed themselves a left-back to solve their problems.

Brendan Galloway has been snapped up on loan from Everton for the rest of the season and bringing in Taylor now might seem an odd move from West Brom.

Pulis may have been watching someone else, or indeed assessing whether Taylor could be a future option – especially with his contract at Elland Road expiring at the end of the season.

For now it seems Leeds might just hang on to Taylor, but his eventual departure continues to look likely.
