The striker is still waiting to make his first start since joining the Premier League side in the summer.
West Brom manager Tony Pulis
Tony Pulis has been full of praise for Hal Robson-Kanu’s attitude as the striker continues to wait for his first start for West Bromwich Albion, the Birmingham Mail reports.
The Wales international joined at the end of the summer window on a free transfer, and has so far made three appearances for the Baggies, all of which have come from the substitutes’ bench.

But Pulis has insisted that he has been delighted with the application the 27-year-old has shown, before explaining why he is yet to make it into the starting line-up.
“His attitude has been fantastic. He missed pre-season so he’s well short of what he can do,” he said, as reported by the Birmingham Mail.

“But he’s really fitted in well and it’s a good group now in respect of pulling together and doing stuff together on the training pitch and you can see that.”
Robson-Kanu will surely be delighted to hear much of Pulis’ assessment of his start to life at the Hawthorns. The West Brom boss previously admitted that the forward was not one of his main targets shortly after his arrival (via Birmingham Mail), so the former Reading man may have feared that he was already facing an uphill battle trying to prove himself.
And while Salomon Rondon’s great start to the new campaign means that Robson-Kanu still faces a challenge trying to force his way into the starting line-up on a regular basis, the fact that he has now earned the praise of his manager suggests that he will get a better opportunity to show what he can do in the near future.
