Leeds United were far too good for West Bromwich Albion last night.

West Brom boss Darren Moore spoke to reporters after his side’s bitterly disappointing 4-0 defeat to Leeds at Elland Road last night, and suggested that starting Tosin Adarabioyo at left-back backfired, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail.
The Baggies were second best against the Whites from the very first whistle, and Marcelo Bielsa’s men always looked like a threat down their right side, with the right footed Adarabioyo looking out of his depth at the left side of defence.
The 21-year-old joined West Brom on a season-long loan from Manchester City last summer, and he has impressed on the whole, playing either at right-back or centre-back.
Adarabioyo was deployed at left-back against Leeds, however, and Moore admitted to reporters after the game that he made a mistake replacing the injured Kieran Gibbs with the on-loan City ace, as quoted by the Birmingham Mail:

“We wanted to come up here and be solid. We thought with his physical presence he would cause problems and give them extra to think about with set plays. It didn’t quite materialise.”
West Brom will have to bounce back quickly if they are to have any chance of earning automatic promotion this season, and back-to-back home games against Ipswich Town and Swansea City represents the perfect chance for them to do just that.
