West Bromwich Albion are reportedly monitoring the fitness of two key players ahead of the Tottenham game this weekend.

As reported by Express & Star, West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis is monitoring the fitness levels of Salomon Rondon and Darren Fletcher as the Midlands side prepare for their crunch game against Tottenham Hotspur.
The international break is a tense time for clubs up and down the country, with the uncertainty of which players would come back fit and ready to play driving managers and fans up the wall.
Now as we prepare for the return to league football, the picture is becoming somewhat clearer for most teams including West Brom.
Pulis has guided the Baggies to a successful start to the season, with the club currently finding themselves in the top half.

With a tough set of fixtures coming up over the course of the next few weeks the Welshman will be looking for his players to dig deep in order to get some more points on the board.
Pulis said, as quoted by the Express & Star: “Salomon came in late so we’ll have a look at him today. There’s one or two we’re still assessing and then we’ll make a decision.
“Everybody’s got to deal with it. There’s a lot of South Americans playing in England now so it’s not just us who have to deal with it. A lot of clubs have to as well.
“We’ll assess him today and along with a couple of others who have done a lot of travelling.

“It’s just seeing whose come back physically strong enough and whether they’ve had enough rest to play in what will be a very tough game for us.”
Darren Fletcher’s injury in particular was a nasty one as he picked up what was described as a severe dead leg in Scotland’s 3-0 defeat at the hands of Slovakia.
Regardless, West Brom will be needing their best starting XI possible if they are going to take all three points against a Spurs side who are on fire.
