West Bromwich Albion and Newcastle United could both benefit from swapping the two players.
Baggies striker Salomon Rondon is available for transfer this summer, according to the Mirror, after being deemed surplus to requirements by Tony Pulis.
Much is the same for Aleksandar Mitrovic at Newcastle, with the Serbian’s services being touted around Europe for the small price of £13.2 million, according to Turkish media outlet Fanatik.

With this in mind, the two clubs should surely consider a swap deal involving the two players.
Rondon, 27, would fit into the mould of forwards who appeal to Rafa Benitez, what with his tireless work ethic, and willingness to run into the channels, creating space for his teammates.
He would be able to strike up a formidable partnership with Dwight Gayle, as both strikers’ attributes would compliment each others’ perfectly.
The 27-year-old Englishman is more renowned for doing his work in and around the 18-yard box, and the Venezuelan’s more unselfish playing style would surely help create even more opportunities for the Magpies hitman.
As beneficial as Rondon would be to the Toon, Mitrovic would be equally as useful to West Brom, what with his strength in the air, and maverick nature.
Pulis is notorious for playing a direct brand of football, usually with a strong and able centre-forward deployed as the focal point for all his side’s attacking play.
The 22-year-old Serb would fit perfectly into this system, and could actually flourish at the Hawthorns, in contrast to how he has performed during his time at St James’ Park.
And with both players seemingly at the end of the road with their respective clubs, a swap deal involving the pair would surely be an ideal outcome for all parties concerned.
