West Bromwich Albion loanee Harvey Barnes has been linked with a return to parent club Leicester City.

Harvey Barnes may have taken to Twitter to comment on West Brom’s New Year’s Day defeat, but all that the Baggies and Leicester City fans wanted to discuss was his future beyond the January transfer window.
Barnes is currently set to spend the rest of the season at The Hawthorns as he looks to help get Darren Moore’s men get promoted. But Claude Puel seemed to drop a hint that there could be a change of plan.
As reported by the Express and Star, the Foxes boss did not shut the door on the possibility of bringing Barnes back to the King Power Stadium this month.
That would be a huge blow for West Brom if he is recalled. He has scored nine goals and contributed six assists for Moore’s side in the Championship. And it was the youngster who won the penalty in the defeat to Blackburn on Tuesday.

That game would end in a 2-1 defeat for the Baggies, which has seen them drop to fourth in the Championship table. Barnes understandably, took to social media to express his disappointment at the result.
But in return, plenty of West Brom fans pleaded with the attacking midfielder to see out his loan spell, while several Leicester supporters insisted that he should return to his parent club and help them as they look to maintain their top-half position in the Premier League.

Here is Barnes’ tweet as well as some of the responses from the fans of the two clubs…
