West Bromwich Albion are reportedly closing in on Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak, much to Arsenal fans’ annoyance.

West Brom and Arsenal fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news coming out of The Sun that suggested that the Baggies are closing in on a deal for Grzegorz Krychowiak.
The Sun reports that despite having a number of European heavyweights chasing his signature, the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder is closing in on agreeing a season-long loan deal with West Brom.

Despite Krychowiak not enjoying the best time since arriving at Parc des Princes last summer, there is surely no doubt that any deal would be a major statement of intent from Tony Pulis’ men.
The Poland international was a key part of the Sevilla side that won the Europa League twice in as many years, and helped PSG win both domestic cup competitions last term.

Unsurprisingly therefore, the news has been met with an incredibly positive reaction amongst the West Brom supporters.
The Baggies have endured another fairly quiet window so far, but this deal would surely make up for that – and one West Brom fan has even suggested that Pulis should get a knighthood if the club can get the deal done before Thursday’s deadline.

But while West Brom fans are delighted with the rumours, it appears to be yet another blow for the Arsenal fans who have endured a miserable time lately.
Krychowiak appears to have been linked with the Gunners in several windows down the years, and The Sun reports that Arsene Wenger wanted him before he decided to sign Mohamed Elneny in 2016.
The Sun adds that Arsenal’s scouts were big fans of the 27-year-old, but obviously a deal has never gone through.
That speculation coupled with how the Gunners have begun the season has left many supporters largely infuriated with the news that he is on the verge of heading to the Premier League – but rather than being on their radar once again, he appears set for West Brom.
Here is what many frustrated Arsenal fans had to say about the report linking their long-time target with a switch to the Hawthorns…
