The big Aston Villa hitman opened his account on Friday night.
Aston Villa striker Wesley proved his class on the field on Friday – now he’s shown the same class off the pitch.
The towering figure opened his account for Villa by scoring the first goal in the 2-0 win over Everton at Villa Park.
That came on the back of two underwhelming displays from the £22 million summer signing, who drew blanks against Tottenham and Bournemouth.
But the Aston Villa new boy is underway and Wesley took the time to respond to a supporter who doubted him.
The fan responded to his original Instagram post by writing: “Pleased for you….sorry for doubting you…..I hold my head.”

It was a classy gesture from the big man and Aston Villa fans will hope that there’s many more like it on the field of play.
In that supporter’s defence, Wesley did look a bit raw early on, but that’s to be expected. It was his first two games in English football and no doubt the intensity of the matches might’ve come as something of a surprise.
But he looked much better against the Toffees and, hopefully for fans, there’s more to come.
