Premier League newcomers Aston Villa have reportedly agreed a deal to sign Club Brugge forward Wesley Moraes.

The agent of Club Brugge striker Wesley Moraes has confirmed to Calciomercato that a big-money move Aston Villa is indeed imminent.
A number of clubs all across Europe have been heavily linked with the 23-year-old Brazilian, who scored 17 goals for the Jupiler League giants in 2018/19.
But Premier League newcomers Aston Villa have come out of nowhere to agree a deal for the coveted Wesley, with HLN claiming that Dean Smith’s side are on the verge of a £22million move.
Wesley, who has also been a target for Cardiff City and Newcastle United, is expected to sign a five-year deal with the Villa Park outfit.
And, speaking to Calciomercato, the youngster’s agent Paulo Nehmy has seemingly made it clear that Aston Villa have won the race, stating that “negotiations concluded yesterday” with the Midland giants.

Wesley had also emerged as a key transfer target for a Lazio side who missed out on Champions League qualification but it seems that the lure of the Premier League is just too strong.
HLN adds that he dreams of playing in England and rejected a move to Bundesliga outfit Bayer Leverkusen as a result.
