Leicester City defender Wesley Fofana has named Liverpool ace Sadio Mane as being just as ‘complicated’ to play against as Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane.
Fofana has been speaking on ‘Oh My Goal’ back in France, discussing a whole number of subjects.
One of them was the most difficult player Fofana has faced in the Premier League.
Fofana was only played one season in the top flight, but it’s clear that battled with Liverpool and Tottenham live long in the memory.
Leicester ace Fofana bigs up Mane and Kane
Fofana told host Colin Dicanot that there isn’t just one player he can pick, but he would go with two.
The defender suggested that Kane is up there but so is Liverpool star Mane, claiming both players ‘know how to do everything’.
Fofana called the duo ‘very complicated’, believing that they cause problems more than anybody in the Premier League.
Mane doesn’t always get the same plaudits as Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah, but it seems Fofana would rather face the latter.

High praise for Liverpool star Mane
Some maybe wouldn’t put Mane quite in the same bracket as Kane.
Kane has established himself as one of the top strikers in the world, scoring at least 24 goals in all competitions in each of his last seven seasons.
Mane doesn’t quite the score at the same rate, but that is to be expected as a winger.
Mane had something of an up-and-down campaign last season, but he still has undoubted quality.
Fofana has a point; Mane can do a bit of everything for Liverpool. He’s quick and tricky, can beat defenders 1v1, can finish from anywhere, can shoot off either foot and is dangerous in the air for his size.
Mane earns a fraction of Kane’s wages at £100k-a-week, but Fofana believes he is just as dangerous.
