The Leicester City captain is preparing to come up against the Scottish Premiership side in a pre-season tournament.

Wes Morgan has claimed that he has previously spoken to former Celtic defender Kelvin Wilson about his time at Parkhead and explained that the defender only has positive memories from his spell, The Scottish Sun reports.
Morgan’s Leicester City side travel to Celtic Park on Saturday to face the Hoops in both sides’ first game of the International Champions Cup.

And ahead of his first trip to the famous ground, the Foxes captain explained what Wilson – who he played alongside at Nottingham Forest – told him about his two-year spell with the Bhoys.
“When Kelvin was here I spoke to him quite a lot and he had nothing but good things to say about his time with Celtic,” he told The Scottish Sun.
“He spoke about the atmosphere and also the Champions League games he played in. He had a good time here and he’s a good friend of mine – so I’m glad.”
As Wilson told Morgan, the atmosphere the fans create has the potential to elevate a game to the next level. And that may perhaps be the one thing that Claudio Ranieri wants his side to take from the friendly.

After Leicester’s stunning Premier League title win, they booked themselves a place in the group stages of the Champions League for the first time, which means that they could well be playing in front of crowds that have the power to give their own team an edge by intimidating the opposition.
So Ranieri may want his side to be playing in front of a passionate Parkhead crowd as it may help prepare them for what is to come when they begin their Champions League campaign.
