Wes Hoolahan has joined West Bromwich Albion on a free transfer following his departure from Norwich City.

Hoolahan has moved to West Brom on a short-term contract until January as a free agent following the departure of the 36-year-old attacking midfielder from Championship rivals Norwich at the end of last season.
The former Republic of Ireland international was on the books of the Canaries from 2008 until this summer.
The 36-year-old has said that he is looking forward to the new challenge at The Hawthorns, and has assured the West Brom fans that he has plenty to offer despite being in his mid-30s.
Hoolahan told West Brom’s official website: “It’s been a long time since I had a trial, but I am really grateful to the gaffer for the opportunity he offered me to come up and spend some time here.
“And it is a great opportunity for me to be back in the Championship with such a strong squad. I still feel I have plenty to offer.
“I retired from international football in March with the intention of kicking on and playing as many games as possible at club level.
“I’ve had a good summer’s rest and now I am really excited about playing again. To get the opportunity to do so with a club such as this one is fantastic for me.”

Smart signing for West Bromwich Albion
While it is hard to see Hoolahan establish himself in manager Darren Moore’s starting lineup, the attacking midfielder is a smart signing for West Brom.
The former Blackpool attacking midfielder will add to the depth of the Baggies squad, with the team aiming to bounce back to the Premier League following their relegation from the Championship at the end of last season.
