Rangers goalkeeper Wes Foderingham admitted to The Daily Record earlier this month that playing for the Gers is probably not going to see him earn a cap for the England senior side.

Foderingham, who is one of the best players in the Scottish Premiership and is a key figure in Graeme Murty’s side, has represented England at the Under-16, Under-17 and Under-19 levels.

The 27-year-old has ambition to play for the Three Lions, but as long as he is at Rangers, he is unlikely to get the chance to do so.

The former Crystal Palace and Swindon Town goalkeeper is not getting any younger, and if he wants to play for the Three Lions even once, then he will have to find a club in England, preferably in the Premier League.
