Wes Foderingham has been Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers’ number one stopper this season.

Wes Foderingham of Rangers walks away from a flare during the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Rangers and Celtic at Ibrox Stadium on September 23, 2017 in Glasgow, Scotland.

Wes Foderingham may have already played his last game for Glasgow Rangers, with Allan McGregor set to arrive in the summer.

McGregor is said by the Scottish Sun to be set to pen a two-year deal at Rangers, which will allow him to finish his career at Ibrox.

McGregor looks likely to come in as Rangers’ first choice in goal, and that throws Foderingham’s future into doubt.

Foderingham has enjoyed a productive spell during his time at Rangers, but he has had to take on board some criticism this season.

And with the Daily Record suggesting that Foderingham could miss the rest of the season with injury, he could now have played his last game for Rangers.

Foderingham will be out of Rangers’ match against Celtic at the weekend, and he could yet be sidelined for weeks.

If the stopper is kept on the treatment table then he may miss his chance to say goodbye at Ibrox, as McGregor’s impending arrival could mean that Foderingham will be put up for sale this summer.
