West Ham United duo Michail Antonio and Said Benrahma have been named as two nominees for the Premier League Player of the Month award.
The Hammers confirmed on their official Twitter account that the West Ham paid had been selected for the monthly award. Antonio and Benrahma have been key to the east London side’s great start to the season.
The Irons sit second in the standings after two wins and a draw in their opening three Premier League games. West Ham have also scored the joint-most goals out of any side in the division this campaign.
And at the heart of this blistering start has been Antonio and Benrahma. The duo have both been incredible on both the goalscoring front as well as creating.
Benrahma has two goals and two assists in three games for the Hammers, whilst Antonio has bagged four goals and three assists in the same number of games.
Indeed, the West Ham pair have been in electric form. And their performances for the club have been noticed by the Premier League with nominations for the Player of the Month award.
