Liverpool fans have reacted to McDonald’s official UK Twitter account mocking the club’s new third kit.

The Reds announced on Wednesday morning their third kit for the 2021/22 Premier League season.

And given the beauty of social media, in next to no time, many fans began likening it to a certain fast-food chain.

That’s when McDonald’s UK Twitter account posted: “OMG, I love your top, where did you get it…”

The Yellow kit is actually synonymous in Liverpool’s history and an iconic colour for the Merseyside club.

But, of course, neutral supporters aren’t going to see it that way.

Instead, that bright yellow, added with the chequered red and yellow squares across the neckline and arm, reminds them of one thing and one thing only.

And that’s images of good old Ronald McDonald from your childhood, it’s uncanny when you see it!

Either way, sometimes these types of kits are the best because they cause the biggest stir, which results in more media attention and more fans purchasing them.
