Some Arsenal fans on social media are over the moon after reading reports linking them with a move for both Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling.
The Manchester City pair could be on their way to the Emirates this summer if the Mail are to be believed, and that is certainly an exciting prospect.
Mahrez and Sterling have proven themselves to be two of the Premier League’s best attacking players, and what’s even more exciting is that they both know Mikel Arteta very well, having worked with him at City.
Arsenal have been lacking a player with true world-class talent, and landing the likes of Mahrez and Sterling would certainly improve their side.
As you can imagine, Gunners supporters were over the moon with these links, and it doesn’t take a genius to understand why.
Of course, whether or not this rumour has any legs to it remains to be seen, but if Edu can somehow pull off this double swoop, it would be one of the best moves we’ve seen from Arsenal in a long time.
