Arsenal and West Ham fans were left perplexed on Twitter after BT Sport opted to play ‘I’m forever blowing bubbles’ during their win at Leicester on Sunday.

With crowds not being allowed into stadiums because of government guidelines, broadcasters have resorted to using fake crowd noises to try and make things as normal as possible for viewers.

Well, rather than using an Arsenal or Leicester chant for Sunday, it seems as though West Ham’s famous ‘bubble’ song was used instead and it didn’t go unnoticed.

A selection of Arsenal supporters couldn’t understand or believe what they were hearing from their TV screens.

Whilst those in East London saw the funny side to their chant being played at another game.

These things are, of course, pre-recorded and either a West Ham fan is winding someone up, somewhere or it was just a genuine mistake.

Either way, it caught, not the eyes, but the ears of those watching from home.
