Hammers boss David Moyes spoke exclusively to the club’s official website, and opened up on the strict regime he has implemented behind the scenes at the London Stadium since taking the reigns in November.
West Ham have shown signs of improvement since the 54-year-old’s appointment as manager two months ago, but some of their bad habits have seemingly crept back into their performances recently, especially from a defensive perspective.
The east London outfit currently sit precariously in 18th position in the Premier League table, one point clear of safety, and they face a huge game against relegation rivals West Bromwich Albion at the London Stadium today.

Moyes spoke exclusively to WHUFC.com ahead of his side’s clash with the Baggies today, and shared how he is keeping on top of his players behind the scenes:

“The players are good, I’m enjoying working with them, the players are having it. We are laying into them because we want the performances to be better, and behind the scenes we are not letting them get away with anything.”
A win for the Hammers today could take them five points clear of West Brom, and could lift them them as high as 14th in the Premier League table, should results elsewhere go their way.
Alan Pardew’s men will be desperate for all three points themselves, however, so Moyes’ side will not have things all their own way today, that much is certain.
