Kieron Evans has wasted no time in revealing what all the fuss is about.

Just hours after Wales Online reported a host of Premier League clubs were keeping tabs on the Cardiff City starlet, Evans maintained his superb run of form with another goal in the 3-0 thrashing of Bristol City’s U23 side today.

If the 19-year-old Welshman continues to perform in such a manner, it won’t be long before he’s contributing to the cause on Saturday afternoon too, alongside Joe Ralls, Kieffer Moore and co.

According to Wales Online, Evans has caught the eye of those behind the scenes at the Cardiff City Stadium, impressing whenever he has been called up to first-team training.

And with Newcastle, Sheffield United, Burnley and West Brom expressing an interest, any hopes Cardiff may have had of keeping Evans’ potential under wraps are surely over.

Then again, there’s no reason to believe the exciting young attacker is going to turn his back on the Championship’s form side.

With Mick McCarthy’s booming Yorkshire tones powering Cardiff up the table at a rate of knots, there’s a chance the Bluebirds could replace West Brom, Sheffield United – or even a freefalling Newcastle – in the Premier League next season.
