Well, Celtic certainly had a very busy transfer deadline day.
A flurry of incomings and outgoings were announced by the Celtic Park club throughout a hectic Tuesday in Glasgow.
There was some bad news in the form of Odsonne Edouard and Ryan Christie leaving the Hoops for Crystal Palace and Bournemouth respectively, while Leigh Griffiths signed for Dundee on loan.
But there was also good news due to some high-profile arrivals, too.
Celtic completed deals to sign Jota, Giorgos Giakoumakis and Cameron Carter-Vickers, the latter joining on a season-long loan from Tottenham Hotspur.
The last one got over the line at 11.55 pm – five minutes before the window closed in Scotland – and suffice to say some fans of the Parkhead club are buzzing.
Here’s how they’re reacting:
What can Celtic fans expect?
Carter-Vickers is a very strong and physical centre-back who’ll add a bit of depth to Ange Postecoglou’s defence, after Kristoffer Ajer’s departure earlier in the summer.
Despite being on Spurs’ books since the age of 12, he has never made a Premier League appearance.
This is the 23-year-old’s seventh loan away from North London and that, combined with the fact he has eight caps for USA’s national team, suggests he still has a decent bit of experience despite never really making it in England’s top flight.
