Aston Villa and Wolves duo, Tyrone Mings and Conor Coady, have built up quite the bromance away from the football pitch.
When on England duty, the duo are seemingly inseparable, as Mings reacted hilariously to his teammate attempting an overhead kick during their 4-0 win over Andorra on Sunday.
The towering Villa defender commented on Coady’s Instagram post: “3rd pic. I think I am saying ‘Con, I swear to God if you try an overhead kick again, we are gonna fall out.”
Coady did indeed attempt an acrobatic effort during England’s World Cup qualifier yesterday.
With Gareth Southgate’s side having so much possession of the ball, Coady, on a number of occasions found himself in the penalty area.
And as the ball was headed into the danger area, the Wolves man tried to channel his inner-Cristiano Ronaldo by attempting an overhead kick.
In truth, it wasn’t a bad effort because Coady got decent contact on it, but imagine the scenes if it hit the back of the net?
Nonetheless, both Coady and Mings started yesterday’s encounter and they were left untroubled throughout.
They ensured it was a breeze for the Three Lions and another clean sheet in the bag.
It does seem as though Mings and Coady are next in line if any of England’s main pairing were to get injured.
Mings started the first two games of Euro 2020, before being replaced by Harry Maguire when he returned from injury.
