Tottenham Hotspur fans are not convinced that they will win tonight against Everton, even though it has been confirmed that Dominic Calvert-Lewin won’t make it.
Sky Sports reported yesterday that Everton will be without their leading marksman for tonight’s game against Tottenham.
But Spurs’ supporters confidence is low at the moment, with their side struggling for form.
And Tottenham fans are still not certain that their side will be victorious later, even with Everton suffering such a big injury blow.
Whichever team loses tonight surely will have to kiss goodbye to any chance they had of making it into the top four this season.
Tottenham are current six points away from the Champions League places, while Everton are a point further back.
A defeat for either, therefore, would be disastrous – given the limited number of games left in the campaign.
Everton go in to the contest on the back of four games without a victory, so while Tottenham fans’ confidence may be low, Toffees’ supporters is unlikely to be sky high right now either.
